We Came, We Saw, We Serviced.

We Came, We Saw, We Serviced.

Midway through the week our participants have traveled to two different sites participating in a range a service activities from mucking out homes as Sandy Relief to visiting an animal shelter bringing love to dogs and cats, to prepping meals at a restaurant-style community kitchen. We are so proud of the high spirits and high energy our participants bring every morning to their sites. Keep it up folks!

Peer Mentor Training and Service Activity!

Peer Mentor Training and Service Activity!

We are eagerly waiting for the participants to arrive and could NOT be more pumped for this year’s OutReach! In the meantime here’s what our peer mentors have been up to the past couple of days! We’ve had ice breakers (of course), community standards, Diversity Training, and Problem Tree. This afternoon our peer mentors went to the Food Bank in the Bronx where they helped package 11,232 pounds of food, breaking our record two years ago of 6,500 pounds. Amazing job peer mentors!
